Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins tonight at Ben and Becky's house. Nick really got into carving this year and did his pumpkin all by himself. Allie felt that it was ridiculous that we were carving the pumpkins but still enjoyed herself and really liked when they were all lit up at the end.

Nature Walk

Allie preschool went on a nature walk today. Nick had a soccer game today and so I took him to the soccer game and Allie and Daddy got to go on the hike together. I think she had a good time but told Scott she was very disappointed that she had to do more hiking. Disappointed and ridiculous are her two favorite words right now. Her favorite part was the donut, grapes and apple juice she got at the end of the hike.

Nick's Class Pumpkin Patch

Nick's class went to the pumpkin patch this week. Yes by this point I am getting sick of pumpkin patches and we didn't even make it to my two favorite ones. This will be the last year Nick goes to the pumpkin patch with his class. It makes me a little bit sad didn't he just start preschool yesterday? How I wish he could stay little forever but am very proud of the person he is becoming.

Sauve Island Pumpkin Patch

Nick and Allie got invited to Harlow's friend Will's 2nd birthday. We have not been to a pumpkin patch at Sauve Island since Nick was a baby and so it was fun to try a pumpkin patch we had not been to for a while. I wish we had more time to spend there but Nick and Allie had fun picking out their pumpkins with Harlow.

Allie Preschool Pumpkin Patch

Allie is loving preschool and they had their first field trip to the pumpkin patch.
She and Scott get to go to school next week to carve them with her class. The weather ended up being really nice and it was a fun day of cool hats, great friends, pumpkins, corn and icecream on the way home.

Halloween Fantasy Trail

We took Nick to the Halloween Fantasy Trail this year. Nick says it was spooky but still enjoyed it and had a fun time. We didn't take Allie with us and I am glad we didn't she is definatly not ready for it yet. They have another one at Christmas time and I would like to take both Nick and Allie to that one.
