Happy Family Day

The past seven years and three years have gone by so fast. They both have grown up so much this last year. I thought it would be fun to take them out to breakfast at a place called Slappy Cakes where we could make pancakes at our own table. It seemed like a good idea until Allie got oil splattered in her eye and she and I spent the rest of breakfast out in the car. Allie's preschool was having a park play date and so we went to that afterwards and both kids had a fun time playing at the park. We then went to Bullwinkles which both kids had decided that is where they wanted to go. They both had a lot of fun but for some reason I wasn't feeling well and so we went home a little early. When we got home I took my temperature and I had a 102 fever and spent the rest of the day in bed. I ended up having strep throat and am still not feeling completely better but better than I was.
