Happy Birthday

Allie was invited to a birthday party on a weekend that we had many things going on. Some how we made it to everything. She was so excited about it. I love this picture of her getting ready to leave for the party.

Clackamas County Fair

Chautauqua Parade

OMSI

At OMSI this summer they have a video game exhibit. They have every video game that has ever existed. Nick and Allie both had a lot of fun I wish that Scott could have come with us to see it. We definatly could have spent more time there.

Playing with Harlow

We have spent many fun evenings playing at Harlow's house with Uncle Ben and Aunt Becky. Harlow has grown up so much this summer and is a lot of fun to play with. We can't wait for her to become a big sister in December and to have a new cousin to play with.

Tangled Movie in the Park

We went in saw the Tangled Movie in the park this summer. Allie had got the movie from the Easter Bunny but never seemed interested in watching it. She did like watching it outside and enjoyed the whole movie and has talked about it several times since.

Swim Lessons

In August we had three weeks of swim lessons. Nick has been doing swim lessons for several years but this was Allie's first year in the water by herself. Both of the kids loved the water. They have really enjoyed playing in the wadding pool that is outside the swimming pool and we have spent many afternoons there this summer because it is the only wadding pool left around here. All the rest have been turned into spray parks which are fun but not the same as a wadding pool.

Riding the Trolley

Dinosaurs at the Zoo

Nick was really excited about seeing the Dinosaurs at the zoo and I had promised him I would take him. I was going to take just him on a day that Scott was working from home but I asked Allie if she wanted to go and she said she did and was not going to be afraid of the Dinosaurs. Last year she was afraid and cried through the whole thing. Both Nick and Allie loved the Dinosaurs this year even though it is the same thing we have seen the last two years. We even got to ride the train. I forgot how much all of the extra things at the zoo cost. We have a zoo membership and so when we usually go it doesn't cost anything.

Oaks Park

This was the first year that Nick was to old to go to Oaks Park Preschool Days. He probably could have still gone but on a day that he was at soccer camp Allie and I went. It was raining that morning and so we almost didn't go but by the time we got there the rain had stopped and Allie enjoyed all of the rides we had time to do.

Ring Leader

Allie's preschool was in the West Linn Parade in July and most of the kids where lions or another type of circus animal Allie however got to be the Ring Leader because she was the only one that the costume fit. It was a really nice costume and the lady that had it even let us keep it. I thought maybe she could be a Ring Leader for Halloween but have something else in mind now. I just hope it comes together because I will have to buy each piece seprate because the one they sell in the stores was made out of plastic and I think I could make a much better one myself. It was raining before the parade started and so we all got wet but it was still fun. It makes me sad to think this will be the last time we will be in it because it is her last year of preschool.
