Happy Family Day 2013

Happy Family Day 2013 Nine and five years ago today I became a Mom to two wonderful children. We had a great day today fishing which was Allie's idea. I didn't think she would like it but she does like to eat fish so I think that is why she chose it. Nick was thrilled with the idea and was even more excited when his friend showed up which was not planned. Nick caught a good size fish and Allie caught a tiny baby fish that they would not let us take home because it was to tiny. She was thrilled with it though. We didn't catch enough to have fish for dinner but will have to try to cook it tomorrow. We did go out to lunch at Mc Grath's and to the pet store. We are now the owners of two beta fish named something that starts with a V I can't remember right now what it was and Super Women.

Update

It has been way to long since I have updated this blog. Since Christmas and before that it was Family Day and so about every 6 months. I would like to post a lot more than that. It was a great school year for both kids and we are enjoying a lazy fun summer. I hope to do a post soon about the school year and summer. We did have family pictures taken recently so I was able to update my facebook account with a picture that includes Allie. The last one was a family picture of us with Nick when he was about 3 and since he is 9 now it was about time.
