Since Allison is now home I felt like it was time to start a new blog that is about both Allison and Nick. The season has definatly changed in our house and summer feels like it is officially over. Our house is full of scarecrows and pumpkins every where and Allison is enjoying dancing with the scarecrows and kissing the pumpkins. I think if I have to watch Halloween Barney one more time I am going to lose my mind but Barney is one of the shows that keeps her interest for a few minutes.
Nick started the 1st grade in September and is really enjoying school. I don't think I could do his schedule he is an amazing kid. He has Akido on Monday soccer on Tuesday and Thursday and piano on Wednesday he is enjoying all of it. Scott is helping coach his soccer team and Nick scored his first goal today and had to run off the field and give his Mom a high five. He is learning some Christmas songs to play on the piano. I can't wait to here him play them this Christmas.
Allison is keeping Mom busy at home. I can't believe how far she has come this last year. She starts dance class in a couple of weeks and I can't wait to see how she does. She loves music and so I think it should be fun. I am really looking forward to doing fall and christmas activities with her. It is going to be totally diffrent from last year.
Scott was layed off in June and was home with us all summer. It was really nice for the kids and he got to spend extra time with them. He did get hired back at Warn last week for a 3 month contract so we will see how that goes and hopefully it will turn into more.
My goal is to update the blog weekly but since I wasn't very good about updating the last one I will see how I do. I chose the name Your Going To Miss This because it seems like my kids are growing up so fast and I wanted something to remind me of when they were this age. Here are some pictures of some fun stuff we did in September.
