Tooth

About a month ago a posted a picture of Nick with a loose tooth. On April 19th it finally came out. When I picked him up from school it was just barely still hanging on and was all ready bleeding and so when we got home it came right out when I pulled on it. He was very excited and the Tooth Fairy brought him $5.00 a toothbrush and toothpaste. I remember only getting a quarter when I was little maybe 50 cents I guess it has gone up a little and it was the first tooth. Scott had a business trip in Las Vegas last week and I was leaving the next day to join him and so I was so glad it came out before I left. He all ready has another tooth that is loose and will probably be falling out in the next couple of weeks. I still don't have a camara working but I did take some pictures with a disposable camara but haven't gotten them developed yet and so when I do I will post pictures.

Baseball

Nick is playing baseball this spring. I think baseball is a lot more competitive than any other sport. His team is made up of 6 7 and 8 year old. Which I wasn't too happy about to begin with. It is his first year playing and he doesn't know too much about baseball but is learning a lot and so far the age has not been a problem. I am really happy with the coaches and he is having a lot of fun and to me that is all that matters. Again his schedule is just crazy and he has something after school every day for awhile some days more than one but he enjoys it all. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. He only has 7 more weeks of school until he becomes a second grader.

Flower Saturday

April 10th was a beautiful Saturday and I spent it buying flowers for the yard in the morning and going to the Tulip Festival in the afternoon. I had already bought my flowers and so all I had to do was have them planted and am hoping it will save me a lot of time this spring. I still have a bunch I need to plant in the ground but at least my pots are planted. It was a nice drive out to the Tulip Festival with not a lot of screaming from the back seat. I was ready for a nice day. When we get there I go to get the camera out of the car and it does not work a piece of the camera had fallen off a while ago and I had been using tape to keep it on. Well now it was gone and so I would not be able to take any pictures today. We walked down to the gift store and you would think they would sell disposable cameras but no such luck. We let the kids go on the rides and decided to come back the next day to take pictures. Allie got to go on her first pony ride. She loved it. Nick went rock climbing and made it almost to the top. I do have a few pictures to post and will have to try to do that later.

RIP Computer and Thousands of Pictures

Life has been a little bit crazy lately I don't know if I will ever get the blog caught up and I have been with out a camera for two weeks and so there is defiantly not going to be as many pictures. The computer crashed a few weeks ago along with all of the thousands of pictures that were on it. I had been asking Scott to back them up forever and he never got around to it. I also use the computer as my calendar and have lost all of that also and so I have no idea what is going on in my life right now and won't even know if I missed anything. The good news is the computer company thinks they were able to retrieve everything the bad news is I am not even going to tell you how much it is costing us it is so ridiculous. Just make sure you back up your pictures and print off your calendar every month.

Happy Referal Day

Two years ago today our family received the referal of An Ai Shan other wise know as Allison. I can still remember it like it was yesterday. After waiting for what seemed like for ever it was finally going to happen. I can remember exactly what we had been doing that morning and when the phone rang Scott had been joking all week that they were going to call that he almost didn't actually pick up the phone because he was so excited. I was writing a shopping list to go birthday shopping for your Auntie Jen and Uncle Jon and all of your information ended up on the list. Nick was not sure what was going on but thought it was really cool that the phone was on speaker phone and he could hear the person talking. The whole process was quite the rollercoaster ride and we were all so happy that it was going to happen. We love you very much Allie and Happy Referal Day!!! I would post pictures but we have been having so many problems lately with the computer and camara that I don't know if I will be able too we will see. I will have to post another post all about that.

Happy Easter

HAPPY EASTER

It was another wonderful Easter weekend. I am sure I didn’t get everything I wanted done but can save the rest for next year. It is amazing how much Allie has changed since last year. She was still so unsure of everything last year and now takes it all in and enjoys everything. Look how much she has grown in a year.

Nick did not have school on Friday and so he was able to go to the library with us. Both kids did really well and sat still the same time. Allie has actually been doing really well at the library lately. I love the little bunny hats they made.

This is a picture of Nick’s Resurrection Eggs. I was so proud of him when I brought them out and he was still able to tell me what each egg represented. He hadn’t seen them in over a year and I know they have been talking about it at school but still was really impressed.

The kids have favorite holiday movies that they watch over and over every year. This is a movie that I picked up probably when Nick was 2 and is still a favorite every year along with It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown. It’s the same as Santa Clause is coming to town except with the Easter Bunny.

We took the kids to the have breakfast at the High School before the breakfast. Allie saw the Gladiator and insisted she needed to have her breakfast taken with him. I think she has seen to many people in costumes lately.

It was another Easter Egg Hunt in the rain. I think every year we have gone it has been in the rain. Allie picked up probably 10 eggs and could have gotten more if she wanted too. I don’t think she liked getting her feet wet in the grass. Nick saw a friend from school which made it extra fun for him and Uncle Jon came to watch the Easter Egg Hunt. He probably found 8 eggs and even won a prize. Which ended up being 5 bouncy balls just what we needed at our house.

Getting ready to dye easter eggs.

Aunt Becky, Uncle Ben and Harlow came over to help us decorate eggs.

Nick turned his Easter Eggs into monster eggs. I think they turned out really cool. I will have to buy that type of dye again next year.
