It was another wonderful Easter weekend. I am sure I didn’t get everything I wanted done but can save the rest for next year. It is amazing how much Allie has changed since last year. She was still so unsure of everything last year and now takes it all in and enjoys everything. Look how much she has grown in a year.

Nick did not have school on Friday and so he was able to go to the library with us. Both kids did really well and sat still the same time. Allie has actually been doing really well at the library lately. I love the little bunny hats they made.

This is a picture of Nick’s Resurrection Eggs. I was so proud of him when I brought them out and he was still able to tell me what each egg represented. He hadn’t seen them in over a year and I know they have been talking about it at school but still was really impressed.

The kids have favorite holiday movies that they watch over and over every year. This is a movie that I picked up probably when Nick was 2 and is still a favorite every year along with It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown. It’s the same as Santa Clause is coming to town except with the Easter Bunny.

We took the kids to the have breakfast at the High School before the breakfast. Allie saw the Gladiator and insisted she needed to have her breakfast taken with him. I think she has seen to many people in costumes lately.

It was another Easter Egg Hunt in the rain. I think every year we have gone it has been in the rain. Allie picked up probably 10 eggs and could have gotten more if she wanted too. I don’t think she liked getting her feet wet in the grass. Nick saw a friend from school which made it extra fun for him and Uncle Jon came to watch the Easter Egg Hunt. He probably found 8 eggs and even won a prize. Which ended up being 5 bouncy balls just what we needed at our house.

Nick turned his Easter Eggs into monster eggs. I think they turned out really cool. I will have to buy that type of dye again next year.
