Vegas Trip

Well what can I say about Vegas. The weather was actually in the 50's my first two days there. By the time we left though it was back in the 80's.

I went with Scott to the big party at his confernece. It was suppose to be a beach party at the Mandalay Bay pool. Unfortunately it raining that day so it was held in a confernce room. Not quite the same. It was still fun though.

They have a live stage show of the Price is Right at Bally's. Scott and I went and he was called down to Contestant's row. He didn't win to go up on stage, but it was still fun to have his name called. He said it was really hard to see what was being shown and to hear the other contestants.

Scott wanted to see the Donnie and Marie show. I'm pretty sure we were the youngest people there. It was neat that it was at the Flamingo because it was still in the old style Vegas show room. It was very red and full of booths. Scott said it reminded him of the type of room that people probably saw Sintra in.

It had been about 10 years since the last time we went and things in Vegas seemed a lot cheaper back then. It seemed to be a minimum of 25 to 30 dollars person at any of the restaurants. We did have fun at Jimmy Buffet's Maragaritaville Restaurant. It had a giant volcano and they did a show every hour of sacraficing the young maiden to the volcano. It was pretty cool.

I managed to come back with a litte bit, but Scott donated his gambiling money to the slot machines.
