Finalization Day

Let’s start with Allie’s finalization day. The day could not have gone much better and was a special day that we will always remember. I am so glad it is finally finished. I will hopefully never have to sign another adoption paper for as long as I live. I had picked her dress out over a year ago and luckily it still fit. I loved it and think it worked perfect for her celebration.

Waiting to see the judge. A picture of Allie with Adrian. He represented us as our lawyer in front of the judge. We can not thank him enough for all of the help he has given us through out our adoption process.

I love this picture of her. She looks so little sitting in the judges chair. The judge was very nice and we all sang Old Mc Donald which was Allie's choice of song when the adoption was completed. I am sure the judge loved seeing Allie she probably has to deal with problem cases all day long and so it was nice to have a positive case for once. Allie asked the judge if she could come back and see her someday and she said she could as long as she wasn't in trouble.

We all went out to dinner at Bugatti's afterwards. Allie got to open a few presents and enjoyed spending time with her family.

I am kind of sad that the adoption process is finally completed and could not have asked for two better kids. Who I love more than anything. I have been blessed with a wonderful life.

Referral Day

I am a few days late but wanted to post any way. On April 15th 2008 I received the best phone call I could have ever received. I had a daughter waiting for me in Shantou China. She was 14 months old at the time and had all ready been through a lot in that short amount of time. She is now a spunky fun 4 year old. I can’t believe it has all ready been 3 years. It is funny that the post before this was about Allie going to a gymnastic gym for a birthday party because we were at that gym the morning before we got Allie’s referral call. Happy referral day my sweet girl.

Gymnastics

Allie was invited to a birthday party at a gymnastic gym. She had a great time maybe we will sign her up for some classes in the fall. Thank you Brian, Melinda and Chloe for inviting us.
