This will be my final post for 2009. I am so happy I was able to get caught up in time and still have 45 minutes to go. I hope that 2010 is a great year for everyone and glad that we all got through 2009. I can’t wait to see what 2010 brings for us. Happy New Years Everyone!!
Tuesday afternoon it started snowing. We were not expecting it at all and so it was a surprise to everyone. It took Scott 3 hours to get home from work and he was on the MAX train for half of it so that means it took him 1 ½ hours to get home from the town center. It usually takes only an hour to get home. We were all very happy when he made it home. Nick was very excited when he saw it was snowing and Allison had just woken up from her nap and so we went outside to take some pictures. As far as Allison’s outfit goes I had her in a red shirt and black pants but she thought that a red turtleneck and turquoise pants and two different pairs of socks looked much better and went in her room and found this outfit by herself and put it on. I didn’t feel like fighting it so I let it go. I can’t wait to see what she picks out next time.

Even though we had all been up really late the night before Nick had everyone awake at 7:30 to open presents. I am not sure how there ended up being so many presents but it took almost 2 hours to open everything. We did stop and eat breakfast and played with a few presents while we were opening. Nick was very excited about what he bought me this year and I had to open it first. It was safety scissors and a tape dispenser and a bunch of gift cards. After all of the wrapping I had to do I really appreciated them. The kids spent the day playing with their toys. Nick got Band Hero and spent most of the day playing with that and his new cars and even put on a magic show for everybody. Allie got her pony but was not to sure of it until she saw Harlow riding on it later on and than it was okay. She also got a backpack and told me she was ready to go to school she also got underwear to go along with it so we shall see how that goes. She also got a lot of princess toys. I am sure it is going to take the rest of Christmas vacation to be able to get a chance to play with everything. My family came over in the evening for dinner and to open the rest of the presents. It was a very relaxing Christmas this year and I personally did not miss the snow at all.

The kids where very busy on Christmas Eve writing letters to Santa, making a plate of cookies for him, leaving oatmeal in the yard for his reindeer and making a cake for Baby Jesus. Nick had to be at church at 4:00 and than we went to Scott’s parents afterwards. It was a very long day but fun.
