Cooking

We have done a lot of baking around our house this holiday season. Allison really enjoyed making cookies and decorating even though she got kind of carried away with the sprinkles. I think some day she is going to be a very good baker and is always very eager to help. Scott put the Gingerbread Train together for Nick and he had a lot of fun decorating it. This was the first year he was able to put all the frosting and candy on it all by himself. I think he did a really good job decorating it. Allison felt that she should be able to eat the candy off of it and so we had to put it where she would not be able to get it which is not easy because with a stool she can pretty much get any where she wants. She defiantly has a sweet tooth I will be happy when the holidays are over and all the candy will be gone. On Christmas Eve the kids made a cake for Baby Jesus we never did get around to decorating it and nobody ever ate any of it but they had a lot of fun making it and that’s what counts.
